Wildfires are devastating Indonesia’s rainforests–threatening the land communities rely on for food, water, and survival. And with hotter, longer dry seasons, the problem is burning out of control.

When forests burn, communities lose everything. Their homes, their land, their way of life, their futures. 

But one fearless group of women refuses to let that happen.

Meet Power of Mama (PoM)–an all-female force of firefighters on the frontlines protecting their land. They battle fires that ravage their forest homes, saving their families, land, and futures. 

Right now, they are preparing to face the worst months of the dry season. They’ve seen how fast fires spread–and the deadly toll they take.

They are ready to defend their land, but they need your  help.
